The dissertation researches the psychopedagogic function (structuring) of the game of rules, as changing intervention in the social affective of pre-adolescents in relationship in the group of two philanthropic institutions, from families with social economical and affective problems. They are 10 Ss aged 10 to 13, of both sexes, of the concrete logical operative period. There are two groups: one structured with 4 Ss in shelter institution and the other by stratified selection in semi-shelter condition. It utilizes the Piaget Operative Proves with the Ss and after Anamnese Interviews with their parents. The recording video and Piaget Clinical Method were utilized. They play Quilles game and it is verified the notions: rules, space, time, casual and cause. They correlates game situations with the social situations experienced. The anamnese datas show possible disorder factors for the good psycho-affective development of the Ss. It confirms the restructuring of feelings, by the insight of behaviors through the speech; there are individual behavior changes and the generalization of their interest in games. It concludes that independently of sex, of the differences of the school level, but at the same concrete logical operative intelligence period and similar social familiar conditions, the game of rules helps the relationship in the group through the increase of the self-esteem of each S and effectuating the cooperation and sociability among them, speeding the socialization. Suggests this procedure as a preventive resource in a primary level of the mental health, in the development of the infantile intelligence at this stage.
